DESCRIPTION:Ver Brochure\n\nLa Región de Aysén\, ubicada en el centro de la Patagonia chilena\, es un área de Chile escasamente poblada; un destino natural\, en que la mitad de su territorio corresponde a áreas silvestres protegidas. En ella\, la vida fluye en armonía con la naturaleza y los sentidos se pierden mientras nos adentramos en una diversidad de paisajes naturales: grandes glaciares de azules hielos milenarios\, fiordos\, montañas nevadas y los miles de colores de su flora y fauna. \nLa ciudad de Coyhaique\, fundada el 12 de octubre del año 1929\, será el punto de encuentro para el Primer Curso de Cirugía de Columna Mínimamente Invasiva (MISS) del Extremo Austral. Nuestro objetivo primordial es compartir y discutir sobre las principales técnicas utilizadas en MISS\, sus indicaciones básicas y aspectos prácticos. El programa incluye seminarios\, discusión de casos y cirugías en vivo. \nResulta fascinante poder apreciar\, como ha evolucionado la cirugía de columna vertebral a lo largo de los años; desde la manipulación externa\, la cirugía abierta hasta las técnicas más refinadas de cirugía mínimamente invasivas. \nEl equipo de neurocirugía del Hospital Regional de Coyhaique (HRC)\, se ha permitido organizar esta actividad académica que tiene por finalidad compartir y difundir conocimiento de las diversas áreas de la medicina que participan en el enfrentamiento de los pacientes con afecciones a la columna vertebral.\nNos honramos en tener la oportunidad de recibir a destacados cirujanos de columna de renombre nacional e internacional y\, estamos muy agradecidos de poder contar con su participación\, así mismo es que les expresamos toda nuestra consideración y respeto. \nSean bienvenidos a la ciudad de Coyhaique.

DESCRIPTION:Dear EANS Young Neurosurgeons\, \nWe are delighted to invite you to take part in the 13th Annual EANS Young Neurosurgeons’ Meeting and Research Course taking place from 19th to 21st April 2024 in Hamburg\, Germany. The topics of the meeting will be Spinal Oncology and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MIS). \nDo you want to actively participate to the YNC Meeting? \nPlease respond to our Call for Abstracts and send us your abstracts for talks to be included in the scientific programme before 31 January 2024. \nWe are interested in clinical cases or series of cases on the following topics: \n1. Spinal Oncology: \n\nPrimary and secondary spine tumors\nIntradural extra-medullary tumors\nIntradural intramedullary tumors\nMinimally Invasive surgery for spinal tumors\nIONM in spinal tumor surgery\nNon-surgical treatment of spine tumors (radiofrequency ablation\, RT\, etc.)\nComplications and controversies in spinal oncology\n\n 2. Minimally invasive spine surgery (MIS): \n\nMonoportal/biportal endoscopic and tubular techniques\nMIS for traumatic/degenerative diseases\nMIS techniques for maintaining spinal mobility (i.e. disc replacement\, laminoplasty\, etc..)\nInfections’ management\nMIS lateral/posterior/anterior/360 approaches\nComplications and controversies in MIS of the spine\n\nBest abstracts will be selected and discussed by the presenting authors during a dedicated session of the Meeting.
