SUMMARY:Advanced Hands-on Course in Skull Base Surgery
DESCRIPTION:The course is addressed to residents in the last third of their residency and young board-certified neurosurgeons. During the coursethe essential microsurgical approaches to the skull base & cranio-cervical junction will be covered. \nThe course will enable young neurosurgeons orienting their sub-specialization into skull base surgery to become more confident. The focus of the course isa hands-on experience per-formed by the participants (a tandem per table). They are supervised by experienced skull base surgeons many of them active members of the Skull Base Panel of the EANS. \nAdditionally\, a Virtual Reality workplace will be availablefor systematic teaching of image segmentation and applications for surgical planning of complex skull base cases. \nhttps://www.eans.org/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=1619550&group=
