SUMMARY:10th Annual Course for Microscopic and Endoscopic Approaches to the Skull Base
DESCRIPTION:Ver Brochure\n\nA national 3-day cadaveric dissection training course in Skull Base/Endoscopic Surgical Techniques will be held in the CSI Laboratory\, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus \nThis is an invitational course taught by world-class experts in skull base and cranial endoscopy to senior resident teams\, combining Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology \nThis course offers an intensive review of the technical nuances involved with skull base procedures including comprehensive 3-D anatomy and 3-D surgical video presentations \nParticipants will receive didactics and hands on instructions on traditional skull base approaches and endonasal and transcranial endoscopy including indications\, techniques\, outcomes complications avoidance and management \nLearn microsurgical anatomy of the skull base • Integrate anatomical knowledge with the main surgical approaches to the skull base \nIdentify the indications for cranial endoscopy \nLearn the different endoscopic techniques including complications avoidance • Identify indications for endoscopic assisted microsurgery and key hole approaches \nDiscuss the nuances of techniques for managing the different challenging pathologies.
