DESCRIPTION:En nombre del Grupo Latinoamericano de Estudio de Neuroendoscopia (GLEN)\, queremos invitar a todos los miembros de la Sociedad de Neurocirugía de Chile a participar del VIII Congreso Latinoamericano de Neuroendoscopia\, que se realizará en Belo Horizonte del 7 al 9 de marzo de 2024. \nEl tradicional congreso organizado por GLEN regresa a sus actividades presenciales luego de una pausa de 4 años\, debido a la pandemia de Covid-19. \nNuestro evento cubrirá las 3 modalidades de neuroendoscopia: ventricular\, base de cráneo y columna vertebral. Habrá conferencias de alta calidad académica\, sesiones de video y valiosos debates dirigidos por colegas con vasta experiencia. \nContaremos con la presencia de grandes exponentes de la neuroendoscopia de Latinoamérica\, así como otros grandes nombres de la neuroendoscopia a nivel mundial. \nAdemás\, nuestro precongreso\, que se realizará del 5 al 6 de marzo de 2024\, brindará capacitación básica y avanzada en técnicas de endoscopia ventricular\, de craneosinostosis\, de base de cráneo y espinal\, con prácticas sobre modelos y cadáveres frescos congelados. \nEntendemos que aún existe una gran disparidad en el tratamiento en diferentes regiones de América Latina y\, además de charlas sobre el estado del arte de la neuroendoscopia\, tendremos espacio para discutir diferentes enfoques para satisfacer la demanda de toda nuestra población. \nLos temas libres se combinarán con el resto de conferencias de las 3 áreas de la neuroendoscopia. DESCRIPTION:Dear EANS Young Neurosurgeons\, \nWe are delighted to invite you to take part in the 13th Annual EANS Young Neurosurgeons’ Meeting and Research Course taking place from 19th to 21st April 2024 in Hamburg\, Germany. The topics of the meeting will be Spinal Oncology and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MIS). \nDo you want to actively participate to the YNC Meeting? \nPlease respond to our Call for Abstracts and send us your abstracts for talks to be included in the scientific programme before 31 January 2024. \nWe are interested in clinical cases or series of cases on the following topics: \n1. Spinal Oncology: \n\nPrimary and secondary spine tumors\nIntradural extra-medullary tumors\nIntradural intramedullary tumors\nMinimally Invasive surgery for spinal tumors\nIONM in spinal tumor surgery\nNon-surgical treatment of spine tumors (radiofrequency ablation\, RT\, etc.)\nComplications and controversies in spinal oncology\n\n 2. Minimally invasive spine surgery (MIS): \n\nMonoportal/biportal endoscopic and tubular techniques\nMIS for traumatic/degenerative diseases\nMIS techniques for maintaining spinal mobility (i.e. disc replacement\, laminoplasty\, etc..)\nInfections’ management\nMIS lateral/posterior/anterior/360 approaches\nComplications and controversies in MIS of the spine\n\nBest abstracts will be selected and discussed by the presenting authors during a dedicated session of the Meeting. En ella\, la vida fluye en armonía con la naturaleza y los sentidos se pierden mientras nos adentramos en una diversidad de paisajes naturales: grandes glaciares de azules hielos milenarios\, fiordos\, montañas nevadas y los miles de colores de su flora y fauna. \nLa ciudad de Coyhaique\, fundada el 12 de octubre del año 1929\, será el punto de encuentro para el Primer Curso de Cirugía de Columna Mínimamente Invasiva (MISS) del Extremo Austral. Nuestro objetivo primordial es compartir y discutir sobre las principales técnicas utilizadas en MISS\, sus indicaciones básicas y aspectos prácticos.
