The webinar „Leaders in Neurosurgery: Role of Women” addresses the critical gender disparities within the neurosurgery field, emphasizing the need for increased female representation. The discussion should underscore the importance of mentorship, highlighting how role models and supportive networks can encourage more women to enter this specialty and consequently increase number of females on leading positions. The session aims to tackle systemic barriers and promote inclusivity within neurosurgery, setting the stage for greater female participation in the future.

The invited speakers are:

• Carmen Vlegeert (The Netherlands)
